gone. The bar has suffered a fire and has burnt down. It's not there any more. It is a smoking crater in the ground.

British attitude in a bar atmosphere makes for the perfect pub, and Fox & Hounds knows how to set the scene for a casual evening out. Dark, informal and littered with bar games, this pub attracts folks who like to kick back with a good lager--not those who seek a party reminiscent of their college fraternity days.

The Crowd
You'll see lots of regulars here, as well as the older crowd who likes to linger over beers and a few Southsiders who want to party without driving downtown. The atmosphere is casual, so don't come here expecting to pick up a hot date.

Fun and Games
Dart boards and pool tables provide plenty of activities for those who need extra entertaining. Fox & Hounds also hosts blues bands on a regular basis.

Nice pub atmosphere, but in a cave!. This is a fun place to relax off some stress or to just hang out. It is definitely more a bar that a restaurant. While it has a traditional seating area, it is tight and cramped, and the food is fairly British pub standard (fish and chips, sanwiches, fries, a few entrees). Most of the place is devoted to being a pub. The bar is the centerpiece and a large portion of the place is devoted to the darts/game area. Also, it is kept ectremely dark and poorly lit. I even noticed the windows were covered with black paper! Dud to the cramped space, the pub get quite packed when any moderatly sized crowd is in attendence. All in all, a great place to hang out and have drinks or grab some lunch. Not a place for a "nice" meal.
