Good but expensive

This clinic is super clean and can always schedule my dog at the last minute. Dr. Haney was very compassionate when I had to put my last dog to sleep, and I found his attitude and that of the staff comforting. But do not expect to cut on costs in this clinic. The work is excellent, from surgeries to general check ups, but I always leave with sticker shock. I do not board my dog with them, since they have no place for exercising dogs. I use Dog Services, which is an excellent day care and boarding facility.

Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name...

When I moved to Richmond 6 years ago, I was desperate to find a good vet and a good hairdresser. I'm still looking for the hairdresser, but I finally found my vet after three or four attempts at other offices.

Stony Point Animal Clinic is small enough to make you feel like you're part of a family, but has a great staff and hours that can meet everyone's needs. It's the personalized service for me that makes a difference...all five of my pets go there, and we're all treated with dignity and respect.

Dr. Haney and company are simply wonderful. 'nuf said!
