Since 1955, this Atlanta-based chain has welcomed an all-hours crowd of shift workers, suits, regulars and late-night partiers with comfy booths and an extensive menu of Southern-accented home-style grub. Waffles (pecan or regular) are the restaurant's most popular dish. Other breakfast favorites include porterhouse T-bone steak and eggs, country ham, and signature hash browns cooked seven ways, from smothered with onions to topped with chili or cheese. Another bargain is the bowl of chili, which comes topped with onions, ham and cheese.

Danger??. My biggest problem with WH is NO ONE in the prep area wears gloves. I thought it was the law. Service just depends on the server you get.

I've had better. If you've seen one, you've seen 'em all and the units in Richmond are just like those all over the South.

Waffle House the best??. Are Richmonder's nuts!!!! Strawberry Street Cafe, Millie's even McCleans isn't bad. But Waffle House is the pits.

Brook Rd - forget it!!. food is good at any Waffle House I've been to. But the service is just terrible at the Brook Rd. Waffle House. I've tried to eat there 2 times in the past 4 months, and couldn't get waited on - after 10-15 mins of sitting at the table. Numerous wait-staff walked past me... even saying "I'll be right with you" or "would you like coffee" would have been nice .. I left each time.

Hunger is better.. The environment was not very inviting. The staff was not helpful and service was super slow. The food was below average ( my eggs over easy were only partly cooked), and the prices average. In short I would not eat there unless every other place was closed.

Disagree. Waffle House resturants are quite dirty in many locations in the Virginia area. Santitation isn't their best asset.

Eeeek!. I can't believe anyone would consider the Waffle House anywhere close to edible. The waffles are tasteless and soggy.

EATER BEWARE!!. Please do your digestive track a favor and DO NOT eat at Waffle House! I have eaten there twice since one of them came to Mechanicsville, and both times I have been sick! One of the times (I'm not sure why I went the second time.) it took 20min for a server to even acknowledge us! There is grease in every place you look, including the seats that you sit in! Completely disgusting!!
