Never Fails to Please

This is the place in town we go to for ribs. The meat is always fall off the bone tender and the perfect blend of smokey and moist. The pulled pork is consistently wonderful. The coleslaw is tangy without being too sweet or vinegary. Their staff is friendly and easily accomodates kids. Unfortunately, we've never had room for dessert.
We've used them for carry out catering for large casual events and they always do a good job. The order is correct and waiting when we arrive. There are never any leftovers. They really know how to do barbecue!
- Pros: great ribs & barbecue
- Cons: salad bar could benefit from a few more fresh options

Thought I was in England

Been around the world a few times (and to many, many smokehouses) and have to rate the food at Extra Billy's as the least flavorful I've ever experienced . . . even the BBQ sauce lacked any character. The only plus was the tasty and bold red ale. Not recommended if you want a true smokehouse, grill, or BBQ experience.

Damm good Take-out on Broad Street

We are down from South Jersey visiting our daughter and son in law you probably won't put much weight in what some Yankees think but nevertheless the food was damm good! Can't imagine how anyone could complain about the ribs. They were right on! I liked the cole slaw, my family was good with the bake beans. Too top it off the hush puppies were a treat. I shoulda gotta double order ( South Jersey talk) . We got take-out and now I'm wishing I had some desert! We'll be back! Don't let that from stop you from eating here.

- Cons: I live in South Jersey (our 51st State)
