Village Exxon not recommended by this customer. I had a very, very bad experience at this auto repair. My vehicle was there for weeks, cost $2900 and broke down soon after driving away. Owner would not honor guarantee and my car was not repaired correctly - I found another mechanic who diagnosed the problem but could not fix the mess and advised a new engine, which was cheaper than Village Exxon charged me. The new mechanic has honored his guarantee and has kept my old car running smoothly. I wished I had turned over the keys to Village Exxon. I was ripped off.…
Abuse of State Inspection Process. I believe they abuse the Virginia state inspection process in an attempt to increase their business. They failed my vehicle for three trivial matters related to lights and mirrors and recommended costly repair solutions. Another repair shop was able to fix the minor issues and pass the vehicle for inspection at a fraction of the estimate provided by Village Exxon.…
