The Scene
So you thought you wouldn't be buying any of that Barney stuff. Or the Teletubby merchandise or the PS2. The biggest toy store around, Toys 'R Us, has all the bases covered in terms of play needs. From the latest video games to go with the high dollar new system to dolls to baby swings, Toys 'R Us has everything that will occupy the attention of your child (which leaves you free to clean up after them). Their website allows for browsing, then you can head into the store with product numbers to scoop them up and bolt. But beware of buying online. They have a partnership with Amazon.com and if you need to return an item purchased off the web, it has to be shipped back to Amazon (can't be returned to the Toys 'R Us store).
The Crowd
Parents with the faraway stare of someone who won't be going home without the PlayStation2, Trivial Pursuit game seekers, parents who forgot birthdays and those that didn't.
