The Scene
The midnight blue and faded gold color scheme and funky antique accessories give this restaurant an art deco ambiance. Ginter Park neighbors perch at the circular bar or dig straight into an eclectic, seasonal, sophisticated menu. Sunday brunch draws a mixture of churchgoers and "let's-take-the-weekend-guests-somewhere-special" crowd.
The Food
This is bistro food taken to imaginative levels. Appetizers are pricey ($5-$10) but include a warm duck salad and a shrimp and scallop encroute with lobster cream sauce. Stand out entrees: Fricassee of chicken with apples, veggies, wild mushrooms and Calvados in a cream sauce, Veal osso bucco over mushroom risotto with haricot vert and a Sambuco-cured double pork chop with cherry raisin compote and whipped sweet potatoes. The chef provides a daily fresh fish special and a vegetarian risotto version. Poached pears with orange cream cheese and chocolate sauce or chocolate cherry bread pudding are presented with panache and polish.

Wonderful atmosphere, very romantic. The bruschetta was delicious. I look forward to visiting one night when they have live jazz.
