After 26 years in business, the store just relocated and doubled in size, but superb service (over 15 employees are VA certified plant specialists) still remains a store standout. Now that it opens at eight, early risers can propagate, plant and prune before noon.
The Goods

Lots of quality products at reasonable prices makes for one-stop shopping for all garden needs. New and unusual plant varieties pop up all the time. Colorful arrangements of container pots inspire even the most novice gardeners. Herb lovers fare especially well, with over 50 varieties (six each of lavender and thyme) to choose from. A floral gift area makes up specialty arrangements with spiffy ribbons and bows.
