Editorial Review for Have A Nice Day Cafe/The Last Decade – by Kristine Forrest

The Scene
Three floors packed full of dancing, gyrating bodies make Have a Nice Day Cafe one of the most active downtown scenes in Richmond. With large dance floors and DJs spinning a selection of '70s and '80s music, this is the perfect place to spend a night of dancing and flirting with fellow partiers. What to wear: Bar managers don't allow anything less than your best; you can't get inside if you're wearing ripped clothing, shirts with lots of writing or hats. Men must wear dress shirts that can be tucked in and can't wear sandals.

Pick-Up Factor
If you're in the mood to flirt, chances are good that you'll go home with a pocket full of phone numbers.

By far the worse clubbing experience I've ever had. I was there for an hour or so and was able to survive the misery. Their DJ was horrible; played 2 songs twice in a row (a DJ no-no), but it's not like it really mattered since the music they were playing was just awful. Not only was there no supply of good dancers (including their own dancers), there was not an attractive crowd. Either every person who knows how to go clubbing and have a great time was attending a secret convention elsewhere or they knew to avoid this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone I know unless I wanted to play a dirty trick on them. Definitely would not be returning. Have a Nice Day Cafe is an overrated club.

This place was just what we were looking for! Country girls headed to the big city to dance the night away! We found this place via the internet and decided to give it a try on a saturday night. Everyone waiting for that first one to hit the stage (of course we lead the way), the night began. Bartenders were great and very cute! Music was awesome especially toward the end of the night with more up to date songs. Lots of single guys(thanx randy for the drinks and dancing)! Oh and cant forget the cage area of the stage where the women can dance....Lots of fun! So if your looking for a good club to have a great time...this one is it!

Pros: fun atmosphere, bartenders hot, good music

Cons: pay parking, no bud products
