Love love love this place.. I go to Mongrel every time I need a gift or a card. They have the greatest selection of cards - better than any other place I've ever seen! And they carry a lot of eclectic items that you can't find anywhere else. I always find something (or lots of somethings) for myself when I go in, regardless of who I'm shopping for, and I always find gifts for the people I love.

A haven for shoppers too hip for Hallmark.. What to Expect
Even if you don't have any gifts to buy, Mongrel is the type of store that pulls you inside just because your mind needs to play. The double-store space spills over with sassy cards, flamboyant gifts and some of the strangest novelty items around--check out its unusual array of string lights and the selection of oddball soaps.

What You'll Pay
Discounts? Probably not. But the prices aren't as overwhelming as you'd expect in Carytown's traditionally chichi strip of stores.
