What to Expect – Even if you don't have any gifts to buy, Mongrel is the type of store that pulls you inside just because your mind needs to play. The double-store space spills over with sassy cards, flamboyant gifts and some of the strangest novelty items around--check out its unusual array of string lights and the selection of oddball soaps. – – What You'll Pay – Discounts? Probably not. But the prices aren't as overwhelming as you'd expect in Carytown's traditionally chichi strip of stores.
