The Scene
Ladies vintage fur coats,dresses, pants, beautiful rhinestone jewelry, housewares, furnishings and some men's clothing are displayed on two different levels.Because Luxor buys ands sells from people in and around Richmond, the stock is constantly changing. The staff is looking for clothing from the 1970's or before. Clientele of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds frequent the store as well as theater personnel. Children buy jewelry for their mothers and "hip old grannies" come in to revisit their memories.
Beefy Stock
Luxor prides itself in being less expensive than other vintage stores because it has more stock. Jewelry, some silver. Late 19c. Pocahontas costume in stock. College guys often find funny neckties or jackets for special parties. Racks of clothing from the '20's, '40's, '50's and '70s'.
