best place in cary town!!!. What can I say? I've been going here for ages. ever since I was a kid. It used to be too much for me. Now I find that it is one of my favorite restraunts and one I will always have a craving to go to. The food is amazing, fresh whether it's cold or hot, there is great service and a friendly atmosphere. In my opinion the Industrial sandwich is the best. I would recomend this deli to anyone I ever meet, and to not go there after hearing about it would be an insult to the place as well as to me. This is the closest Richmond will come to an authentic New York Italian deli. The smell of garlic hangs in the air. A dozen tables inside and a half dozen on the sidewalk make
this a stylish place (next to historic Byrd Theatre) to pick up or eat in. Many customers routinely drop by for a wedge of parmigiano-reggiano for that night's pasta.
The Food
Most deli sandwiches include gourmet meat (Thumann's brand), cheese and fresh-made baguettes. The real Italian hero has proscuitto di parma, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and sweet red peppers. South Bronx club is a three-decker on toasted rye stuffed with sauteed corned beef, pastrami, melted imported Swiss, sauerkraut and special house sauce.
