Bev's, Highly Rated but not my cup of tea. My girlfriend and I went to Bev's on Tuesday. Safe to say that we had a horrible experience. The lady at the counter was rude and seem to be pissed off at something and it showed! She rush us through our orders and she just threw our ice cream around. The strawberry smoothie I order tasted like sugar water and the brownie sundae my girlfriend order was hard as a rock and the ice cream was way to hard to eat. I wanted to ask for a refund, but I had already paid for it and started drinking and eating the Sundae. I'm not asking for compensation of money, I just want an enjoyable experience at BEV's on the house!

Delicious ice cream in a great location. Bev's makes wonderful ice cream in lots of exciting flavors. Plus, they're located right across from the Byrd on Cary. Great place to go for a snack, and if it's not your thing I also recommend the Ben & Jerry's next door.

Coffee-scented breezes waft from this cute Carytown cafe.. The Scene
Tucked into a subtle building in the midst of Carytown, Bev's might be easy to miss if it weren't for the coffee-scented breezes wafting out the door. Too hot for a cup? No problem, since Bev's offers a wonderful selection of ice cream and smoothies.

The Food
The menu is chock-full of funky flavored homemade ice cream: candy cane, pina colada, dirty chocolate, almond joy and bananas foster. There are also gourmet sandwiches and salads. Have a high-energy smoothy, frappe, egg cream or an ice blended coffee or malt to wash it down.
