The Scene – Julian's owners are on premises most days (and nights)--they give the place a comfortable, welcoming feel. Broad Street office workers pour in for the weekday luncheon Blue Plate Specials, nights bring a mixed bag and Sunday fills up with the church crowd. Nostalgia buffs still settle into a cozy booth to share a late-night pizza. – – The Food – The signature pizza still draws 'em in after all these years (65 to be exact). I've had better and I've had worse. It's a nice sized restaurant with friendly staff. The bread is great and the pasta is ok. The downtown location has better food but the WestEnd location has better decor. Only if they could combine the two.
