Gus' is the best sports bar in Richmond.
Do you like to watch?
Sports, of course. They do requests.
Do you like soccer? Best bar in town.
They open early for some games, ask the staff.
They'll play any game. They play the UFC PPV fights no cover.
Free foozball.
The food is phenomenal; I usually have to bring home a box.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Great brunch on the weekend.
No longer in business. This place has been closed for awhile and Gus's Bar and Grill is now in that location.
Grant should start here if he were to decide to burn the city down again..
You've got to be kidding me? The place was run down and other than our small group and a couple of the neighborhood drunks it was empty on a Sunday afternoon. Richmond is a nice place but its places like this that makes me understand why Grant burned the city down. The only reason this place didn't receive a complete zero is because I felt sorry for the lady that had to work there.
And another thing when we were there the grease fryer didn't work and they were out of corn chips so I can't make an intelligent judgment on their food.
Your welcome,
A great spot to take a large group of sports nuts for some pilsners and pool..
The Scene
Two pool tables, dart boards and a pinball game leave you with plenty of action in between commercials during your sporting event. Seven televisions surround the room and are visible from everywhere. The design of the U-shaped bar fits snugly into the room and offers easy access to the bar for patrons ordering their favorite libation. Sports memorabilia covers the walls, putting you in the mood for the big game.
The Draw
Looking for a good time that won't drain your wallet? Look for the hot wings special on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Buy a couple of brews and you're out of there with enough cash for a movie. At a sports bar, you don't expect a chef. But the in-house chef makes all the desserts fresh and keeps the sports fans eating real food, not all that typical fare.
the best sports bar. OOB has lots of tvs placed so you can watch many games at once. Good bands, coldest beer in town, great beer selection, laid back crowd, good food, great time.
good times. good bar ... good times ... tasty wings ... good drinks .... cold beer
Out of Business. The old owner sold in 2005 and it went downhill pretty fast. The new guys went out of business already.
