I've eaten at every Vietnamese restaurant in the Richmond area, and this is by far the best I've ever had. Saigon, under the new management, is much better than it used to be. The flavors are what you expect: sweet, spicy, and savory. My favorites are definitely the pho (I could eat it daily), the stir-fried rice noodles, and stir-fried lemongrass chicken. FANTASTIC FOOD!!!

Saigon USED to be my favorite restaurant in Richmond. I managed to find some time during each week to pick up takeout and was always satisfied. Recently the ownership/management changed, as did their menu and it all went South from there. Anymore, I'll just eek out my own version of their formerly delightful meals at home. Worth a try if you like Vietnamese, but revel in the fact that it USED to be way better.
