Best Brunch Ever. I've been going to Joe's for years now and it is always consistent.

Friendly wait staff that are just appropriately enough concerned about your welfare but smart enough to leave you alone to enjoy your food. I get the same thing almost every time I go, 2 eggs over medium with bacon and the eggs are sheer perfection. I think it's about the only Brunch spot that truly knows what eggs over medium are.

The potatoes are good, not perfect, but with exceptional eggs, well cooked bacon, good corn bread and a cheap bloody mary, you can't beat this place

Best dining experience from Breakfast to Dinner!. WE have been dining at Joe's Inn -Downtown for some 20 yrs. WE have never been disappointed. It is hard to get a table, but worth the wait !

Huge portions, good food, and affordable!. I don't know how anyone could complain about the serving sizes. I ordered the baked spaghetti and have enough for four meals! And yes, the sauce was mostly on the top of the spaghetti, but that was quickly solved by mixing it.

The food is pretty good, and the prices are reasonable. It was crowded on a Friday night but we still got a seat. It is a nice place to go when you want a pizza or a sub, nothing fancy (but sometimes you don't want fancy!)

worst service, poor quality food. Our family had dinner after the owner sold Joe's Inn to his children. At that time we had a very bad experience, terrible food, terrible service it wasn't like it use to be. Much time has passed since then. we thought we would give Joe's Inn another try. Foolishly ignoring the many many complaints from our family, Friends and co-workers, This restaurant has gone to the dogs. In fact I would not even feed my dog Joe's Inn food. The portions are so much smaller with skimpy servings of cheese and sauce on the pasta, smaller salads, mostly lettuce, less ingredients. The service is rude, the management is ruder. Once again we had the worst experience ever. Save your time and money, if you want fast food, go to Joe's Inn. If you want real good Italian meal go to a good Italian restaurant. There are many good Italian restaurants in Richmond that are not expensive.

LOW QUALITY FOOD BAD SERVICE. Since the former owner sold his restaurant to his children. The quality of the food went way down. I was there with my daughter and grandson and the waitress was extremely rude. I asked for our pasta to be served after we finished our salad, the pasta was served five minutes later. The sauce was skimpy, only the top had sauce, the sides and inside was completely white, plus the pasta was to come with 3 cheeses melted, that was also skimpy. I was very disappointed. When I asked for extra sauce I was told I would have to pay for it, even though I showed that the pasta was white, the manger would not budge, saying it had sauce on top. The pasta was mushy, hardly any melted cheese, the portion was smaller then it use to be and the lack of sauce, made for a very disappointing meal. The salad was skimpy, lack of extra ingredients. We were treated very badly, my grandson did not even get service utensils, his hamburger was burnt, it was like a rock. This food was not fit for humans. If you want fast food go to Joe's Inn. If you want good food and service do not go to Joe's Inn. Please believe me and save your money and time.

Great food, poor service. Joes Inn is a great place to go to eat some serious Italian food. Large portions-enough for two people to share one dish. The baked spaghetti is the best I have had. On the flip side the waitress was one of the worst. She was busy with everything but waitressing. Her kid (about 7 yo) sat in the front of the restaurant playing with toys the whole time. Maybe the babysitter canceled, but it was weird to eat while she took care of her kid. She was rude and never uttered anything other than "Can I take your order." This place is apparently good for kids. Bring them with you and they can all play with her son and the toys at the front of the restaurant.

Fan Dining Legend. Joes is one of my favorite places for breakfast or brunch. The food quality is excellent and the portions are generous. You can't go wrong with the Italian dishes as that is what this place is known for. Other fare is pretty average overall but never have I had a bad meal here. A fan institution and a great people watching spot to boot.

a treasure of the fan. Having lived in the Fan district all my life, I am no stranger to Joe's Inn. On average I eat here about 3-4 times a month, and each time I always leave satisfied. The prices are very reasonable, the service is quick and efficient, and the food is GREAT! I remain steadfast to the fact that there is no bad item on the menu. On top of that, there is a great diversity to the menu, with everything from Greek and Chef salads, to Eggplant/Chicken Parmigiana, to pizza, to a full page of sandwhiches and subs, to an anytime list of breakfast foods. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a great meal and a great price.

Baked spaghetti at its best.. The Food
Joe's is famous for its baked spaghetti, and with good reason. It's a healthy dose of pasta, well-seasoned sauce and cheese that's as satisfying as it is popular. In local polls, Joe's is a perennial favorite for the "kind of food your mom used to make." And if your mom never cooked like Joe's, now you'll know what you missed.

Cox Rd store isnt great. Joe's Inn on Cox Rd isnt that great. The food was less than ordinary. It's very busy with the Innsbrook crowd and you feel rushed to eat & get out. I dont recommend it. Tony's down the street off Three Chopt is better.
