Barely worthy of 1 star.
I live across the street from this McD's and I've never in my life been let down so many times. Finally I got the sense to stop going to this one, even if it is so close by. They've screwed up my order EVERY time I've been, their machines for shakes and coffee are always broken, the wait has never been under 10 minutes inside (only once was i offered compensation for that wait) and the staff (other than maybe the manager) is overall lacking in their presentation and obviously there isn't one employee who has the slightest bit of respect for their job. I'm the last to complain about anything, and I understand McDonald's isn't the place you would go to expect great service, but animals could run that restaurant better. Save your time, your money, and your health and go across the street to the JerkPit or over to Subway. If you really must have McDonalds, take the time to travel to the one on Cary St., better service, better food, cleaner and homeless people don't ask you for change while you're trying to eat. They also have a couch and TV area, really nice.

Burgers, sandwiches, Happy Meals and all things fried and grilled draw families and fans to the world-famous Golden Arches..
In Short
The intoxicating smell of golden fries cooked to crispy perfection and succulent burgers sizzling on the grill permeates the space, while a lively chatting and munching crowd maintains a laidback vibe at this famous fast food haunt. Hungry patrons of all ages and walks of life order classic favorites like the Big Mac, Chicken McNuggets, and the Filet-O-Fish sandwich. As for breakfast (it is the most important meal of the day, after all), this drive-thru king offers both sweet and savory morning meals like the Egg McMuffin and Hotcakes, as well as flavored iced coffees for a much needed java jolt.
