Iv'e been to pretty much all the towns and museums related to the Civil war and the only
museum that rivals this one is at Gettysburg.
And insofar as visiting this one it is by far one of
the largest and most extensive. And of course,
your stop at this museum wouldn't be your last in
the central Virginia area, a good portion
of the Civil war was fought between Fredericksburg
and Peterburg, and the history of it is well preserved.
If you love history, this is the place

I have been to all the museums in Richmond and I find the Confederate and White House museums to be the most informative and interesting of them all.
- Pros: Parking Free, Low Cost, Exciting
- Cons: Downtown
