One of the Best. This hotel has it all - class, quiet, dignity. A beautiful oasis right in the middle of downtown Richmond. I've stayed in a room at the Bekeley numerous times - always the same room with a delicious balcony and wonderful amenities. Don't hesitate to reserve a room here when visiting Richmond.

Since its opening in 1988, The Berkeley Hotel has earned the AAA Four Diamond Award. The dining room was chosen the 1997 Virginia Wine Restaurant of the year. The name Berkeley comes from Berkeley Castle in England, The Berkeley Plantation and Governor Berkeley of Virginia. The six-story hotel blends in architecturally with the surrounding buildings. The hotel prides itself for impeccable service, fine dining and elegant accommodations.

The Package
The "Berkeley Celebration" package includes: champagne with truffles in the room and breakfast or Sunday brunch for two in an Executive Parlor room ($165).The hotel's convenient location allows a guest to walk to the state capitol, the Canal Walk, and the myriad of shops, restaurants and clubs. Who's staying? Regulars at the Tobacco Company who had to much too drink, company bigshots in town for the big meeting, companies interviewing in style to leave an impression and actors shooting films in town.
