Apollos is GREAT!. Apollo's is great! I don't know what these negative reviewers are talking about! We have ALWAYS had good food here...everything we have ever tried. The selection is great! Fast service, good and friendly staff. Our favorites are cheesesteak sub, LASAGNA! and the meat Stromboli! Try it. you WILL like it!

Such a value. I love this place. It's so cheap and the food I got was really good. Definitely worth it for the value.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I went last night for dinner and was charged $ 246.88 instead of $24.68. When I told the cashier that she had made a mistake when entering the amount she looked at me like I was the idiot. The manager came over and "voided" the transaction. I was told to call if I have any problems. So this morning I check my bank account and it shows being charged twice from Apollos. Once for the $24.68 and then for $246.88. I called the bank first and see if they had any record of a "void" for $246.88. The bank suggested that we call Apollo and see what is going on. We were told that they were too busy to help us and that if I gave them my credit card number they would call me back. I told them I would not give them my CC number but did have the transaction number from the receipt. We then asked for a manager and were told that he was busy and could not come to the phone. At that point I asked what kind of customer service is it that they can charge me $220 extra for a meal and don't have the time to help me out. I then asked again for the manager and all of a sudden the man on the phone claimed he was the manager. Then he decided he had enough of me and hung up the phone. Who in the world is to busy to help a customer that has been wronged...I'll tell you who, someone who is trying to get extra money out of people. He knew he was wrong since we wouldn't give his name. The cashier was an idiot...she must be family...I didn't mention that we ordered a greek salad and got a container of lettuce and ranch dressing. I also must agree with the comment about the garlic knots..first off they should be called dough knots...there was no garlic on them. I'm pretty sure they make them once a week and reheat, I could not poke them with a fork. I will never go back to that place. I would suggest you go there for dinner if you want to eat poo and be over charged. If that's what you're looking for...Apollo's has no problem accommodating that request!!!!

Good food, good service, go now!. I was first introduced to Apollo's 5 years ago when I started working in the West End. I have been dining there faithfully ever since! This place has the perfect mixture of old world charm and Mom-n-Pop hospitality. From the pizza to the subs and salads, everything I've had has been flavorful and delicious. The food always comes back the way I ordered it. The service is prompt, which is important when you're on a 45 minute lunch break. If you haven't been yet, see for yourself. Enjoy dining outside on the patio, or have your food delivered! Great options, great food!

Gross!. This is the worst food I've ever had. I gave my dog a garlic knot and he died! The pizza is also as oily as a 2cent gas station. Not to mention the owner's kid is fat.

Worst pizza I have ever had.. Disgusting pizza. I ordered a large pepperoni and could only eat 1 slice before I threw it out. Not crisp at all. The pizza was buttery, sugary, soggy and had no crunch at all. I've had frozen pizza better than this. I do not recommend this place. If you want good pizza, stick with Mary Angelo's in Cary Town and Arianna's in the fan.

Great food. I have no idea why the last poster is saying they have bad pizza. The have great food, great service, and their pizza is awesome. I have been going there for 4 years now and I have never once had a bad experience. I say go try it and you too will become an Apollo's fan.

I guess people has no taste. I have had italian food at many places and ate pizza in many places. It was thanksgiving and there was no open place in richmond. And it was my first and last visit to Apollo because i ordered their gigantic pizza and i just tried little bit and i dumped the rest (and i was starving) it is that bad.

Apollos is the best. Apollos is the best pizza place in Richmond not only because there pizza is amazing they have a wide range of other gret foods you can get

(subs,pizza,calzones,stromboli,spaghetti, tons of side orders, deserts,and a lot more than any other place in richmond) ive been to all three of there locations in richmond and every single one has the nicest staff and the best food, they never settle for less....mmmmmm..apollos!!!!
