Hana Zushi specializes in the Japanese art of sushi, a blend of rice, raw fish or vegetables wrapped in seaweed. True, to the uninitiated this may not sound very appetizing. But if you're going to taste it anywhere, Hana Zushi is the place to do it. With an amazing array of combinations, the delicate wisps of ginger and the fiery wasabi dressing to the side add a kick to the relatively mild taste of the seaweed and rice-wrapped treats. A cup of sake (Japanese rice wine) may make you forget that you just ate raw fish, but be forewarned: it's potent and quick to sneak up on the unsuspecting. Don't stray too far from the sushi, however, some of the forays into other types of Japanese cuisine are not as successful here.
