What to Expect
This shop stocks a large variety of collectibles including jewelry, plates, coins, books, home furnishings and accessories. In 16,000 square feet of space, 100 dealers, most of whom are professional decorators who keep abreast of the latest trends, display their wares. A staff of knowledgeable salespeople can answer questions about any of the items for sale because the dealers usually aren't usually on site. The customer is able to browse the many stalls without any pressure but can still expect quality service.
Best Buys
Because of the high cost of new furnishings, Midlothian Antiques can offer better quality at a lower cost (i.e., solid wood, brass fittings, etc.) on most furniture pre-1940s. Hint: You can take your purchase home to see if it fits your decorating scheme. If you don't like the way it looks, return it.
