POOR ATTITUDE, POOR SERVICE
by robert23111 at Citysearch
Orderd a mushroom pizza for pickup, got home, it was a pepperoni. No big deal? but I haven't eaten meat for over thirty years, so it was an inedible pie for me. Called Anna herself, told her that she gave me the wrong pie. She herself did realize the mixup, and she told me I could come in the next day and pickup the mushroom pie, but when I did order that and arrived, Anna told me the CORRECT pie would be half price! I am now to pay 150% more than the regular price FOR HER SCREUP?! I don't think so. Anna and her husband told me they "couldn't feed me twice", basically accusing me of eating the Pepperoni pie, then wanting another free pie. I did not eat the wrong pepperoni pie, and she refused to budge in correcting her mistake! VERY, VERY POOR AND NASTY ATTITUDE FROM BOTH ANNA AND HER HUSBAND! I recommend that you AVOID this restaurant, there are too many other options for pizza and fine Italian food, with great and friendly staff in Mechanicsville!! (Posted January, 2011).
Tasty and ample servings of Italian food, salads and pizzas.

My wife and I frequent Anna’s for the tasty and ample servings of Italian food, salads and pizzas. It’s a twenty-mile drive for us but well worth the trip. Anna’s Italian Restaurant is family owned and operated. They, and the wait staff, are friendly and efficient. The available parking, food and prices are very good and the restaurant is easily accessible from Interstate 295.
- Pros: Parking, food, prices and easy access from Interstate 295.
- Cons: Closed on Mondays.
Best Pizza in Richmond

If you crave New York style pizza, you need to go to Anna's Italian Restaurant. I gave Anna's a rating of five stars based solely on their pizza because it's so good I won't bother getting any other menu item. I took some friends out to Anna's and they raved about the pizza as well. The service is good and the prices are reasonable.
- Pros: Pizza, Service
- Cons: Need larger non-smoking section
GREAT FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS!!!

This is my families favorite pizza place to go to. The pizza is like NY style, thin and very cheesy, its GREAT! Its one of the only places to go around here to get awesome pizza. The owners are there every night and make you feel very welcome. I have also tried pastas, salads, deserts, ect... all of which were just as great. The bruscetta is very good as well. If you like a pizza thats nothing but crust than this isnt the place for you. If you like pizza that you can actually taste toppings and cheese on, than you will love Annas!
- Pros: Pizza, Price, Parking, Location, Seating right away
- Cons: sometimes the service has been alittle slow
Yuck! This pie was salty! Yuck!

I was sitting in the car on a friday night waiting on a girlfriend who was shopping next door. I notice people coming and going from Anna's with a black and white pizza box in hand. So I figure "hmmm, maybe I'll give them a try" So we ordered a large pizza for $11.50 one side plain with cheese the other side with pepperoni.
When we got home the pie was thin, I mean thin, very little sauce, a hallow crust edge and it was SALTY! I mean salty. I didn't even bother saving any of it for left over. Sorry never again.
- Pros: none
- Cons: none
