EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - both got very sick after meal and manager never called back. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

My lady & I had a very nice dinner. Delicious food, great servers & rich ambience. A little pricey but worth it for a special occasion. But upon returning home, we both became very sick to our stomachs with cramping, cold sweats, throwing up and spending a lot of time on the toilet. Most of the next day was spent just laying around trying to get our strength back.

I called the restaurant the day after the dinner and spoke to the floor manager. She apologized and said she'd have the manager give me a call. Several days passed and no call. I called back and the floor manager indicated that they were very busy lately & would remind the manager to give me a call. Another week passed and still no call from the manager. I got on their website, got their email address and sent them a note. I then received an email back from The FoxHead Inn (they didn't provide their personal name or number).

I found it very disappointing and odd that the manager decided not to call me to discuss this. Instead they get all technical with me and implied that it was us that were somehow unfit to properly digest their food that evening. I would have been happy with a heartfelt apology for our discomfort and a suggestion that we give it another try. This would have displayed their confidence that this was a fluke, one-off event and that we would not have a repeat bad experience. I put all this in an email back to them but received no further reply.

woodsy wonderland. Romantic, excellent food, outstanding ambience, accurate wine list for foods served. A little ostentacious, but it adequately addresses the clientele. Expensive, but worth it for special occasions. They let you feel like the only persons in the restaurant.
