Red Oak Cafe is closed - its now Sunset grill

Red Oak Cafe is closed. New owners have renamed it Sunset Grill. Same layout as before. Still has good food but no longer has the breakfast special with the fried oysters. Too bad - that was my favorite! The brisket is very good - some of the best I have had north of Texas.
unprofessional bartender

Food was delicious, but don't order any drinks unless you are a male and sitting at the bar. Bartender was extremely slow in getting drinks made for tables. More interested in being crude and vulgar with males at the bar. Won't give out names, but she was tall, heavyset w/ blondish hair. Not a place I would want to bring my family with her there.
- Pros: Delicious food
- Cons: service lousy
Favorite backup restaurant

Whenever I can't think of where to eat, this place always comes to mind. Never disappointed. Great specials and lots of flavorful choices. Try to pork tenderloin. It is actually worth ordering and melts in your mouth. Think I have tried everything and nothing is bad here.
- Pros: food, ambience
- Cons: out of the way
Great deck

This is a great place to sit outside for dinner or catch up with friends after work for drinks. Now that it's grown so much it's not so "country" as before but still very pleasant. It also has GREAT food!
